BG Events and Designs was thoughtfully created to help our clients design events that are unique to their tastes and individual needs. We have perfected the craft of seamlessly blending planning and coordination, design and decoration as well as floral to make your events everything you’ve been dreaming of
(and more!).
What we do is simple. We take the work off your shoulders, so you can enjoy yourself, soak up your event without a worry, and focus on creating memories to last a lifetime.
Here at BG Events and Designs, our job is to ensure that when you look back on your event, you remember it as an experience of pure joy. Stress? Nope, not invited.

Hey, I'm Bri!
I am a Minnesota girl through and through. I love to stay active & spend time outside as often as I can! This May (2023), my family will be adding a little BG #2 to the mix! The hubs and big brother, Beckett, are super excited, Ripley (the pup) will be excited there is another human to lick!
I love everything that has to do with tacos, mashed potatoes, ice cream, tequila, coffee + sour patch kids! In my spare time, I enjoy seeing more of our great state, traveling (when we can), decorating for the next holiday/event, or just giving a room a fresh new look via organizing or revamping!
I have been planning + decorating events since I can remember. I have always been drawn to making events run seamlessly, beautifully and of course, memorably! Organizing all the moving pieces, decorating a gorgeous event, and making it all live in harmony makes the OCD fairy within me do her happy dance.

Hi there, I'm Megan!
I was born in ND but raised in MN! I love being outside, spending time with family + friends, and organizing anything I get my hands on! A few of my other favorite things I cannot forget to mention are: going for walks, playing with my puppy, and celebrating every Taco Tuesday! One of my goals in life is to say that I have been to all 50 states!
I am the oldest of four siblings. Being the oldest, I have always been looked up to, which gave me more motivation to show my responsibility, passion, and determination. I am a calm, focused + positive individual which always helps me stay driven to continuously connect with others and build relationships. My calm personality allows me to pay close attention to detail. I enjoy making sure to get all of the big + little details in order for the event to fall into place which is my favorite part of organizing + coordinating.

Hi, I’m Carlye!
Born and raised in Minnesota, I love everything the Midwest has to offer. In my free time, you can usually find me catching a Broadway show downtown with my husband or skating on a frozen lake with my dog in tow.
I have experience working on a variety of events and I enjoy making sure an event sings. With my keen eye for detail and calm personality, I make sure an event flows flawlessly from beginning to end.
This past year I had the pleasure of planning my own wedding and I can’t wait to help others plan their perfect event!

Hey everyone!
My name is McKenna, I just graduated from high school and I am the youngest of four siblings. In my free time, I enjoy playing with my dog, Ruby. I love music so when I have any chance to, I will sing my heart out. Fashion is another passion of mine, so seeing sketches laying around the house is no surprise. My first time being out of the country was last year. I traveled with my best friend to Belize, it was the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. I look forward to seeing all the beautiful couples and helping make their wedding day the wedding of their dreams.

Hi! I’m Jessica!
I was born and raised in Minnesota! I left for college in Iowa and I came right back to my home town to teach in my old school district. I’m a Kindergarten teacher and I love my job! That’s where the designing came in! I like to decorate my classroom to create fun and welcoming spaces for kids (and adults) to be.
In my free time, you can find me doing a lot of things, like hiking and camping, putting puzzles together and reading or playing my French horn. I teach music lessons a few nights a week and I’m on music committed and boards in my town.
I had the pleasure of planning my own wedding this past August and absolutely LOVED it. I can’t wait to help others achieve their dream event!

Where are you located
?
We are located in the Twin Cities; however, we serve the state of Minnesota and beyond to your destination location. Our team is throughout the Twin Cities and Central Minnesota (and looking to expand soon)!

Do you travel?
Yes, we do travel within a 60-mile radius from our home base of Cottage Grove, MN! Anything outside our radius would require a travel fee, which will be included in the client’s invoice.
Are you a sustainable, eco-friendly company?
?
Yes, yes, and (you guessed it) YES!! We strive to be as sustainable and eco-friendly as we can be. In general, events of all sorts create a lot of unnecessary waste — and as industry professionals, we feel we have an obligation to Mama Nature to do everything in our power to create events that are kind to our planet. That means working alongside eco-conscious vendors, using biodegradable, compostable and recyclable products, and prioritizing continued education and growth to ensure we keep our impact to an absolute minimum. We love working with our clients and fellow vendors to make badass, sustainable events happen!
Are your packages customizable?

Oh, hell yeah they are. This is our favorite part of our packages! When it comes to events, we know that nothing is "one-size-fits-all." Your dream event is entirely unique to you. That’s why we work with your budget, needs, and wants.
What kinds of floral services do you offer?
?
We don’t just do flowers, we are all about flowers here at BG Events & Designs. Is it an obsession? Absolutely, and we wouldn’t want it any other way. We looooooooove to play with flowers and make jaw-dropping creations.
As of 2022, we added floral services to our bag of tricks! We don’t just create floral arrangements — we make art. BG Events & Designs specializes in floral installations, and bonus: everything we do is floral foam free — that shit is TOXIC! We create sustainable and environmentally friendly installations that we dispose of in eco-conscious ways!
Whether your floral installation is a gravity-defying, free-standing vertical piece or a horizontal installation, we can make it happen. Want something to hang from your venue’s ceiling (with the venue’s permission of course)? Do you want some floral added to an arbor, arch, platform, stairwell, staircase, signage, tables, etc.? The list goes on and on and on, and it’s all possible! We LOVE us some flowers, so contact us today and we’ll chat about logistics, budget, and timing for your event!

Upon special request, additional services may be available to inquiring clients. Fees for said services will be calculated either by work hours, type of florals being used and/or the amounts of floral needed.
Do you have decorations for rent?

Yes, We have rental decor. Please visit our Pinterest board, or check out our inventory page to see what we have available. If we do not have the item (or items) you’re looking for, let us know about your vision — there’s a good chance we’d be willing to add something new to our inventory! If not, we know other vendors so we can always source out what you're looking for.
